We are called to PRAISE GOD IN CHRIST. We stress the importance of God's people gathering to worship and praise our great God and Savior.

Did you know that we were all created to be worshippers--it is up to us to choose who or what we worship? The earliest people realized that God was the creator and ruler of all things and they worshipped him. People have made the choice to worship God or worship something else ever since then. I have discovered that there is a great satisfaction when I worship God. When I worship I understand where I belong and the purpose of my life. I feel the security that comes from his love and protection.

I believe that God is spirit and he is present when people worship him. That is a tremendous blessing-he is with us and he is listening and responding with love. As I review his greatness, and as I recall his goodness, my spirit is lifted. As I focus on a future that is secure because of his mercy, I gain confidence for daily living. As I talk with him I see that his promises are trustworthy. I am content in serving him and not just taking care of myself.

That is what I want for you too--the security and contentment that come from belonging, from relying on God. He is totally dependable. I invite you and I encourage you to come and worship!
