Peace With Christ Kids Connection is our Sunday morning ministry for kids       that meets at 9am. Our Sunday School invites children 3 years of age               through 5th grade to meet new friends, learn Bible lessons in small and           large groups, sing songs and enjoy our incentive store!

2018 – Service Project

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Operation Christmas Child’s mission is to provide local partners (communities) around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. These simple gifts are shipped outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.. Operation Christmas Child is an example of “many hands make light work.” It is a simple way that individuals and families can do what seems like a small task, but when combined with boxes from around the world, the impact is huge.

Why we help Operation Christmas Child
  • To demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world.
  • To partner with local churches around the world to share the news of Jesus Christ.
  • To bring joy to children in impoverished countries at Christmas time.
  • To model generosity and service to PWC children, who can easily participate in packing shoe boxes.
 What you need to know
We are collecting small toys, hygiene items, school supplies, etc. until November 11th. Then the kids will get the opportunity to pack the boxes on the 11th!
For a list of items or ideas visit Samaritan’s Purse for more information.
We are also collecting money if you would prefer to donate a different way. Each box takes $9 to ship and each box (our goal is 50 boxes) must have postage to be sent. Please contact Connie Johnson if you have any questions!
Thank you!
