Lent 2021 | February 17th – April 3rd
Lent is the 6 weeks that we as a church take to consider our need for a savior. Lent is a time of contemplation and preparation for Christ’s death and resurrection. It is common in culture to give something up during Lent, which has value, but we also always ask you to consider adding something. Last year we had Lenten worship and the year before we did service projects.
This year we want you to study God’s word with us. Here are two options, one is in person and the other is a Zoom study:
“The Good Friday Story” – 7pm on Wednesdays

Every year during Good Friday (the Friday before Easter) we talk about the last day of Jesus’ life very quickly. We are going to slow down and talk though these really significant texts.

Taught by Pastor Josh, in person Wednesdays at 7:0opm, in the Worship Center. Beginning February 24th.

“You’ll Get Through This; Hope and Help for Your Turbulent Times” –
In this six-session, video-based study, Max Lucado offers refreshing assurance for anyone facing trials. As we study the life of Joseph in the Old Testament, we see how God weaved what was meant for evil into good. God is in the business of redeeming the broken. He was then. He is still. Do you crave some hope for these tough times? Then this is the message you need.

Taught by John Paulus, Thursdays 7:00 – 8:00 pm, beginning February 18th, on Zoom (Zoom Link) Password: HOPE.
