Middle School

Middle school is a season of big questions, growing independence, and figuring out where you belong, and we want students to know they don’t have to navigate it alone. 
Our hope is that every middle school student finds a place to belong, people to walk with, and a growing confidence in who Jesus is and who they are in Him.

Refuge Nights

Every other Friday from 6pm-7:30pm

Refuge Nights are all about community, food, and Jesus. We hang out, share a meal, open God’s Word, and play games while building real friendships. It’s a place to laugh, be yourself, and discover how faith connects to everyday life—not just Sundays. Come as you are and find Refuge in Christ!

Confirmation Class

Sundays 9:15am-10am

Confirmation is a Lutheran tradition that invites students to cultivate their faith. Through discussions and one-on-one mentoring, students explore the Lutheran faith, ask honest questions, and grow in confidence as followers of Jesus. We believe that when students are given space to wrestle with what they believe alongside trusted leaders and peers, they develop a faith that is deeper and resilient.
This journey builds toward an October worship service where students who have completed instruction publicly affirm their faith, supported by their church family every step of the way.

We love seeing our middle schoolers actively involved in the life of Peace With Christ. There are many opportunities for them to serve—whether as an acolyte, a VBS leader, part of the tech team, or in other meaningful ways. We’d love to help your middle schooler find a place to get involved and serve alongside others in our church family.

FRequently Asked Questions

Emergency Contact
If you are interested in having your student join us for Refuge Nights or Confirmation, we ask that you provide contact information for your middle schooler so we can reach you in case of an emergency. Please select the "Register" button under Refuge Nights to submit this information.
Our Volunteers & Safety
Every volunteer that serves with our Student ministry has successfully completed a background check and is 18 or older. Students are remain secure in our building and supervised when we are outside during the duration of our events.
Where To Go
Refuge Nights - We meet at church every other Friday Night. Students can be dropped off and picked up at the main entrance. We eat in the chapel and play games either in the gym or outside, weather permitting.

Confirmation Class - We meet in Room 10 of our building from 9:15am to 10am on Sundays. This is the 4th Grade classroom, which you can find by going down our main stairway to the right of the coffee area, and turning right to the end of the hall.
Baptism
If your student has never been baptized, we would love to walk with you through that journey! Click the link below to learn more about baptism and when you could have your student baptized.
