We Believe
We believe that men, women, and children are rescued from the effects of sin purely by the undeserved grace of God. Through faith, which is a relationship of dependence upon Jesus, God Himself gives us forgiveness and new life. We believe God’s Word, the Bible, is our final and ultimate authority. In it, He gives us the rule and norm for all belief. Through it, He makes us aware of sin, fills us with faith in Jesus, and guides us in faith-filled living.
The Bible
The Bible is the true, inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God, the sole rule and norm for faith and life.

Spiritual Gifts
God gives all people abilities and opportunities through which they serve their neighbors in daily life, a calling the Church has historically described as vocation. In addition, the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to believers for the building up of the Church and the service of others, always in accordance with God’s Word. These gifts are given by grace and are to be faithfully stewarded for the good of Christ’s body and the glory of God.

The Son
Jesus Christ is God incarnate, the Son of the Father. Jesus is fully God and fully man. He is the only person ever to have lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for humanity, and atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.

The Lord's Supper
In the Lord’s Supper, Christ gives His true body and true blood, in, with, and under the bread and wine, for Christians to eat and to drink. Though this gift is a mystery beyond human understanding, it is real and given according to Christ’s words of institution. Church Polity
The Office of the Pastor is instituted by God for the preaching of the Word and the administration of the Sacraments, and pastors are called by God through the congregation to shepherd His people according to the Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions. As a congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, we practice congregational governance in which the congregation holds responsibility for doctrine and the calling of pastors, elects a council for governance and policy oversight, and entrusts day-to-day ministry to the pastoral staff and ministry leaders under that oversight.

We confess
We believe in what is expressed by the Apostle's Creed, and confess it along with our brothers and sisters in Christ all over the world for the last two millennia.
Apostles' Creed First Article
I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
the Father almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
What Does This Mean?
I believe that God has made me and all creatures; that He has given me my body and soul, eyes, ears, and all my members, my reason and all my senses, and still takes care of them.
He also gives me clothing and shoes, food and drink, house and home, wife and children, land, animals, and all I have. He richly and daily provides me with all that I need to support this body and life.
He defends me against all danger and guards and protects me from all evil.
All this He does only out of fatherly, divine goodness and mercy, without any merit or worthiness in me. For all this it is my duty to thank and praise, serve and obey Him.

Apostles' Creed Second Article
And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

What Does This Mean?
I believe that Jesus Christ, true God, begotten of the Father from eternity, and also true man, born of the Virgin Mary, is my Lord, who has redeemed me, a lost and condemned person, purchased and won me from all sins, from death, and from the power of the devil; not with gold or silver but with His holy, precious blood and with His innocent suffering and death, that I may be his own and live under Him in His kingdom and serve Him in everlasting righteousness, innocence, and blessedness, just as He is risen from the dead, lives and reigns to all eternity.
Apostles' Creed Third Article
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy Christian Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
Amen.
the holy Christian Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
Amen.
What Does This Mean?
I believe that I cannot by my own reason or strength believe in Jesus Christ, my Lord, or come to Him; but the Holy Spirit has called me by the Gospel, enlightened me with His gifts, sanctified and kept me in the true faith.
In the same way He calls, gathers, enlightens, and sanctifies the whole Christian church on earth, and keeps it with Jesus Christ in the one true faith.
In this Christian church He daily and richly forgives all my sins and the sins of all believers.
On the Last Day He will raise me and all the dead, and give eternal life to me and all believers in Christ.

We are proudly Lutheran
We are associated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. To be Lutheran means that we accept the scriptural truths that inspired the Reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century and led to a renewed focus on the Gospel. We uphold an extravagant and mysterious view of God’s love: That man is saved purely by God’s grace through faith alone, apart from works.
That God is so loving and powerful that He actively works through His Word, saving and sustaining sinful men, women, and children through the gifts of Baptism and Holy Communion.
That God is so loving and powerful that He actively works through His Word, saving and sustaining sinful men, women, and children through the gifts of Baptism and Holy Communion.
Grace Alone
God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.
Faith Alone
By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.
Scripture Alone
The Bible is God’s inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.
