Because of Jesus, we serve with love, generosity, and purpose—both within the church and beyond our walls.
Serving is about using your God given gifts to care for others and make a difference.
No matter your skills or schedule, there’s a place for you to serve, grow, and belong.

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.
Each of us has unique gifts, experiences, and passions, and God uses them to care for people, strengthen community, and share His love.
Whether you enjoy working behind the scenes, welcoming others, mentoring kids and students, or serving our neighbors, there are meaningful ways to get involved. You don’t have to know where you fit right away—we’ll help you discover how your gifts can make a real difference.

Volunteer FAQ
How do I volunteer?
Click the link above to fill out a volunteer interest form. Based on where you’d like to serve, a staff member will reach out to talk through next steps. This usually includes a meet-up with the ministry lead, a conversation about the ministry and its needs, and an invitation to shadow the team to see if it’s a good fit for you.
Will i need a background check?
For the safety of our children and students, all volunteers serving with individuals ages 0–17 are required to have a background check on file. If you plan to serve in our Nursery, Children’s, Middle School, or High School ministries, a completed and approved background check is required before serving.
What kind of time commitment is involved?
We never want our volunteers to feel burned out. Your time matters to us, and we value it deeply. Time commitments vary by ministry. Some serve weekly, others monthly, or as needed. Let us know what works for you, and we will honor that.
Is church membership required to volunteer?
We value volunteers who are connected to the ongoing life of our faith family. Being part of Peace With Christ means growing in faith, building relationships, and serving alongside others in community. Because of this, we ask that volunteers be regularly involved in the life of the church before stepping into a ministry role.
Do i need any previous experience or special skills?
Not at all! Our hope is to help you get involved in a place where you feel you can make a difference. While past experience is always a bonus, we value your willingness to serve far more than any specific skills. Wherever you serve, our leaders will equip and support you so you can feel confident and succeed.
What are some of the ways I can serve?
We have many opportunities to serve! Check out the interest form for the full list, but here are just a few: Usher Team, Worship Team, Tech Team, Hospitality Team, Food Bank, Welcome Team, Prayer Ministry, or even starting something new where you see a need in our church.
